Die Idee
Es sind Songs und längere Suiten, die ich in der Zeit von 2019 bis 2021 geschrieben habe. Viele Titel sind, passend zum Album-Titel „REFLEXIONS“, sowohl nachdenklich, reflektierend als auch Spiegelungen, quasi-optische Reflektionen von anderen Titel und Strukturen auf dem Album. Man begegnet immer wieder ähnlichen Motiven und Abläufen, denen aber immer wieder eine weitere Facette abgewonnen wird. Das Programm, was wir letztendlich aufnehmen werden, bestimmt ihr als Musiker mit: jeder sucht im Vorfeld seine / ihre favorisierten Stücke aus. Man kann das Ganze stilistisch wohl am Besten als eine Art „Fusion“ bezeichnen: Handgemachter, konventioneller Soul-Pop trifft auf überraschende Synthi-Sounds, improvisierte Jazz-Soli, World Music Elemente und Drum-Loops. Etablierte Strukturen lösen sich sanft oder plötzlich auf. Die Texte sind in sich gekehrt, spiegeln sich in anderen Album-Texten wieder und haben eine allegorische, mystische Komponente. Die Gesamt-Spieldauer der von mir geschriebenen und im März und April als Layout produzierten Titel liegt bei rund 93 Minuten – wir suchen davon gemeinsam ca. 60 Minuten für Recording und Konzert aus.
Die Planung
Geplant ist das Ganze für den Frühherbst 2022.
Am Ende soll folgendes dabei herauskommen:
• Aufnahme von ca. 60+ Minuten Ensemble-Popmusik in einem feinen Studio
• intimes „Club“-Konzert im selben Studio als schöner Abschluss
• Videoaufzeichnung von Recording-Tagen und/oder Schlusskonzert
• Upload der gemasterten Musik über einen Aggregator bei Spotify, YouTube etc.
• Upload des Konzert-Videos bei Video-Portalen, Webseite(n) etc.
• Kleinauflage von CDs (2023), mindestens für alle Mitwirkenden, ggf. auch mehr falls die Streams und Uploads gut laufen
